Ropeway Solution Services LLC

Ropeway Solution Services LLC, recently founded in January of 2019, is an official supplier of Elaskon lubricants and products.  The Ski Industry in the United States has long suffered from a lack of access to premium lubricants designed specifically for protecting and preserving wire ropes and ropeway components on transportation lifts.  Elaskon has been a manufacturer of wire rope lubricants for over 50 years.   Elaskon produces primary lubricants for wire rope manufacturers to use during the manufacturing process and then supplies secondary lubricants compatible with and based off the primary lubricants for ropeway maintenance personal.

With increased demands on ropeways such as longer operational seasons, faster travel speeds and year round operations efficient wire rope lubrication has never been so important. We can supply customers with the continuous Automatic Rope Oiler that lubricates the wire rope in small amounts continuously year round.  The first unit in North America was installed at the Oakland Zoo gondola in February of 2019.
